Abachux BDC Limited was incorporated on June 10, 2014 with a fully paid up share capital of N35million. The company commenced business in April 2015.

We are a distinct Bureau de Change firm with with bespoke services in currency exchange and international payments for individuals and businesses.

Our Management


Admiral Madueke is a retired Chief of the Naval staff of the Nigerian Navy. A graduate of the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), Britannia Royal Naval College (BRNC) Dartmouth England and School of Maritime Operations (SMOPS) Southwick, UK. He is a Member of the Royal Institute of Navigation, London (MRNI) and a member of the Nautical Institute, London (MNI). Admiral Madueke had extensive training and experience in Engineering and Communication Systems in his Naval Career and commanded Capital Ships and Establishments. He attended several Senior Officers’ courses in management of Organisations, Human and Material Resources. He is also a graduate of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPPS) Kuru.

He served at the Embassy of Nigeria Washington DC, USA as a Naval Attaché accredited to the Pentagon and received the US Presidential Award of LEGION OF MERIT (DEGREE OF OFFICER) for exceptional performance. He also holds a Nigerian National honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).

He has to his credit three Doctorate degrees (Honoris Causa) in Science (D.Sc) by Enugu State University of Technology, Law (LL.D) by Abia State University, and in Business Administration (DBA) by the University of Nigeria of Nigeria Nsukka.

He served two tenures as Military Governor of Old Anambra State and Old Imo State. These capabilities also ensured his rise to the top of his service as chief of the Naval Staff.

Since his retirement, Admiral Madueke has made a successful transition into the business world as chairman of Radam Maritime Services Ltd., Regalia Nigeria Ltd., Excel E & P (Marginal Oil Fields) Ltd., Solid Rock Securities and Investments Ltd., Executive Chairman, Interconnect Clearing house Nig. Ltd., and a host of other Board appointments. In June 2008 he was elected into the Council of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). He brings to the table a wealth of Management and Corporate Governance experiences.

Olusegun Adamolekun – B.Sc. MBA. | Managing Director

Bachelor of Science holder in Business Administration from the University of Lagos, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

Olusegun is an alumnus of Lagos Business School, with over 25 years in Credit and Marketing and Relationship Management experience in the financial sector in Nigeria.

His working experience cuts across the West, North and East of Nigeria. His last Senior Management position in Banking was Group Head, Remedial Assets Management. His experience in financial services also cuts across Merchant, Commercial, Mortgage Banking and Pension Fund Administration, where he resigned from as Chief Marketing Officer responsible for overall Marketing and Relationship Policy matters. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.

Olusegun also veered into Financial Consulting with Edmonton Consults Limited, where he served as the Deputy Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.He is married with children.

Benjamin N. Mba – BSc. CNA. | Treasurer

A Certified National Accountant with a Bachelor of Science Honours in Accounting from the University of Nigeria Nsukka and an Advanced Diploma in Management from the University of Lagos.

Benjamin is a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). Before now, he has been an active professional in the Banking Industry notably worked in Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria as a Branch Accountant; Enugu Branch, Assistant Manager of Finance; Mina Branch and Head of Finance Department; Port Harcourt Branch.

At Gamji Bank of Nigeria PLC, Benjamin held responsibilities at the Management level as a Personnel Manager and Senior Manager (Inspection) at the Lagos Branch and also as Branch Manager at the Port Harcourt Branch.

In the course of his banking career, Benjamin attended several management Development Trainings namely in Financial Management, Corporate Strategy, Bank Inspectors' Workshop...

In the early days of his career, he also held the position of Chairman Association of Senior Staff of Banks, Insurance & Financial Institutions (ASSBIFI) at the Federal Mortgage Bank Unit, Enugu from 1983 to 1984.

He is happily married with six (6) children.
